Are JMC Academy qualifications nationally recognised?

As a graduate of JMC Academy, you possess a nationally recognised degree or diploma. JMC Academy is a registered Higher Education Provider, which means their qualifications have the same standing as those offered through universities and TAFE institutes.

With a JMC Academy Bachelor degree, you can articulate directly into university postgraduate programs.

How are JMC Academy courses different/better?

JMC Academy courses deliver serious qualifications, serious skills and serious knowledge, giving you the best possible start to a career in entertainment.

You have the advantage of hands-on training in superior facilities with professional, state-of-the-art equipment, on campuses located near major recording and production studios.

Through collaborative projects with students from other departments, you gain an understanding of how the industry operates end-to-end and graduate with a ready network of contacts.

Because the JMC Academy courses offered through SEEK Learning are nationally recognised higher education courses, they are all eligible for both FEE-HELP and Austudy.

What is the difference between the Diploma and Degree programs?

JMC Academy courses are structured to provide you with options. Once you enrol in your course of choice, you can choose to study up to the Diploma (1 year), Associate Degree (2 years) or Bachelor degree level (3 years).

The Diploma courses provide you with foundational knowledge and training in your area of interest. Diploma-level courses are ideal if you want a basic qualification that will get you into the industry and working sooner.

Degrees are higher qualifications that can lead to increased employability and better job prospects. Degree courses are ideal if you are seeking in-depth theoretical knowledge in your area and willing to invest more time in your studies before starting a career.

If you enrol directly into a JMC Academy degree course, you can complete two years of study to earn an Associate Degree, or complete the full 3-year program to earn a Bachelor Degree, which may qualify you for entry into postgraduate courses at Australian universities.

Contact a SEEK Learning consultant now to discuss the right course level for you.
