Industrial relations (IR) legislation now places more emphasis on individual workplaces reaching solutions for management and employees. This has led to a growing need for understandings and skills to fairly and effectively manage people within organisations.

The Graduate Certificate in Industrial Relations will teach you about current IR theory and practices within people management . You'll gain an understanding about organisations and government employment relations strategies while learning about the different strategies available to all organisations.


What You Will Learn with the Graduate Certificate in Industrial Relations

This industrial relations course will provide you with a general understanding of the IR environment, including theoretical and practical knowledge regarding:

  • People and institutions in industrial relations (employees, employers, employer associations, unions, industrial tribunals and other bodies); and
