Course Requirements
As part of the course assessment, you'll need to undertake supervised work placement for a total of 50 hours in residential aged care. This placement will need to be pre-approved by OTEN. This will help prepare you for professional work in the community services industry in aged care work.
You must also complete a Senior First Aid certificate in order to receive the Certificate III in Aged Care Work.
