What Will I Learn?

You gain operational tourism knowledge and skills in preparing itineraries and accurate quotations to meet client requirements. You'll also gain an understanding of factors that impact the tourism industry locally and globally.

Among other things, you'll learn how to:

  • Source products for inclusion in tourism packages
  • Develop programmes to meet specific market customer needs and business requirements
  • Process a range of travel-related documentation including credit card charge forms, flight tickets, visa and passport forms, itineraries, travel insurance documents and more
  • Operate industry-wide reservations systems
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Make, cancel and amend bookings
